The Servant - Cells
Zitat:
It'll all click when the mortgage clears All our fears will disappear Now you go to bed I'm staying here I've got another level that I want to clear My skin feels like orange peel My eyes have been vacuum-sealed My organs move like a squirm of eels We should be more adventurous with our meals They annoy me those who employ me The could destroy me The should enjoy me We eat Chinese off our knees And look for each other in the TV screen
The sun goes up and the sun goes down I drag myself into the town All I do I wanna to do with you Everyday I'm at my desk At my desk I'm like the rest All I do I wanna do with you
On the city's skin they move on mass Like a rash on the back of a manky cat Now in I go like a fool I can't resist dipping in the pool I watch them watch me I watch them too Across the street, across the room I dress myself like a charcoal sketch My eyes are brown and my hair's a mess They annoy me those who employ me They could destroy me They should enjoy me We eat Chinese off our knees And look for each other in the TV screen
The sun goes up the sun goes down I drag myself into the town All I do I wanna to do with you Everyday I'm at my desk At my desk I'm like the rest All I do I wanna to do with you The sun goes up ?
The cells I am at the moment will soon die But I will be here Oh I'll still be here The cells I am at the moment will soon die But I will be here Oh I'll still be here The sun goes up ?
Everyday, everyday, everyday

Zitat:
Incubus - The Warmth
I'd like to close my eyes and go numb but there's a cold wind coming from the top of the highest high-rise today. It's not a breeze cause' it blows hard. Yes and it wants me to discard the humanity I know, watch the warmth blow away.
So don't let the world bring you down. Not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. Remember why you came and while you're alive experience the warmth before you grow old.
So do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier? And leave in my wake a trail of fear Or should I hold my head up high and throw a wrench in spokes by leaving the air behind me clear
So don't let the world bring you down. Not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. Remember why you came and while you're alive experience the warmth before you grow.
So don't let the world bring you down. Not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. Remember why you came and while you're alive experience the warmth before you grow old.
Before you grow old. Where did it go? (x4)
Zitat:
Incubus - Warning
bat your eyes girl be otherworldly count your blessings seduce a stranger whats so wrong with being happy? kudos to those who see through sickness (yeah) over and over x2
(chorus) She woke in the morning she knew that her life had passed her by and she called out a warning "Dont ever let life pass you by!"
I suggest we learn to love ourselves before its made illegal when will we learn? when will we change? just in time to see it all come down.... Those left standing will make millions writing books on the way it should have been
when She woke in the morning she knew that her life had passed her by and she called out a warning (WARNING!!) "Dont ever let life pass you by!"
floating in this cosmic jaccuzi we are like frogs oblivious to the water starting to boil no one flinches we all float face down
She woke in the morning she knew that her life had passed her by and she called out a warning "Dont ever let life pass you by!"
Und noch der all-time-Klassiker
Zitat:
Incubus - Wish you were here
I dig my toes into the sand The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds Strewn across a blue blanket I lean against the wind Pretend that I am weightless And in this moment I am happy.. happy
I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were here
I lay my head onto the sand The sky resembles a backlit canopy With holes punched in it I'M counting UFOs I signal them with my lighter And in this moment I am happy.. happy
I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were here Wish you were here
The world's a roller coaster And I am not strapped in Maybe I should hold with care But my hands are busy in the air saying:
I wish you were here I wish you were
I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were here Wish you were here

bob dylan - bob dylan's 115th dream
Zitat:
I was riding on the Mayflower When I thought I spied some land I yelled for Captain Arab I have yuh understand Who came running to the deck Said, "Boys, forget the whale Look on over yonder Cut the engines Change the sail Haul on the bowline" We sang that melody Like all tough sailors do When they are far away at sea
"I think I'll call it America" I said as we hit land I took a deep breath I fell down, I could not stand Captain Arab he started Writing up some deeds He said, "Let's set up a fort And start buying the place with beads" Just then this cop comes down the street Crazy as a loon He throw us all in jail For carryin' harpoons
Ah me I busted out Don't even ask me how I went to get some help I walked by a Guernsey cow Who directed me down To the Bowery slums Where people carried signs around Saying, "Ban the bums" I jumped right into line Sayin', "I hope that I'm not late" When I realized I hadn't eaten For five days straight
I went into a restaurant Lookin' for the cook I told them I was the editor Of a famous etiquette book The waitress he was handsome He wore a powder blue cape I ordered some suzette, I said "Could you please make that crepe" Just then the whole kitchen exploded From boilin' fat Food was flying everywhere And I left without my hat
Now, I didn't mean to be nosy But I went into a bank To get some bail for Arab And all the boys back in the tank They asked me for some collateral And I pulled down my pants They threw me in the alley When up comes this girl from France Who invited me to her house I went, but she had a friend Who knocked me out And robbed my boots And I was on the street again
Well, I rapped upon a house With the U.S. flag upon display I said, "Could you help me out I got some friends down the way" The man says, "Get out of here I'll tear you limb from limb" I said, "You know they refused Jesus, too" He said, "You're not Him Get out of here before I break your bones I ain't your pop" I decided to have him arrested And I went looking for a cop
I ran right outside And I hopped inside a cab I went out the other door This Englishman said, "Fab" As he saw me leap a hot dog stand And a chariot that stood Parked across from a building Advertising brotherhood I ran right through the front door Like a hobo sailor does But it was just a funeral parlor And the man asked me who I was
I repeated that my friends Were all in jail, with a sigh He gave me his card He said, "Call me if they die" I shook his hand and said goodbye Ran out to the street When a bowling ball came down the road And knocked me off my feet A pay phone was ringing It just about blew my mind When I picked it up and said hello This foot came through the line
Well, by this time I was fed up At tryin' to make a stab At bringin' back any help For my friends and Captain Arab I decided to flip a coin Like either heads or tails Would let me know if I should go Back to ship or back to jail So I hocked my sailor suit And I got a coin to flip It came up tails It rhymed with sails So I made it back to the ship
Well, I got back and took The parkin' ticket off the mast I was ripping it to shreds When this coastguard boat went past They asked me my name And I said, "Captain Kidd" They believed me but They wanted to know What exactly that I did I said for the Pope of Eruke I was employed They let me go right away They were very paranoid
Well, the last I heard of Arab He was stuck on a whale That was married to the deputy Sheriff of the jail But the funniest thing was When I was leavin' the bay I saw three ships a-sailin' They were all heading my way I asked the captain what his name was And how come he didn't drive a truck He said his name was Columbus I just said, "Good luck."

Life it seems, will fade away Drifting further every day Getting lost within myself Nothing matters no one else I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give There is nothing more for me Need the end to set me free
Things are not what they used to be Missing one inside of me Deathly lost, this can't be real Cannot stand this hell I feel Emptiness is filing me To the point of agony Growing darkness taking dawn I was me, but now He's gone
No one but me can save myself, but it's too late Now I can't think, think why I should even try Yesterday seems as though it never existed Death Greets me warm, now I will just say good-bye
Sentenced - Noose hat geschrieben:
No way out of your misery Alone in pain and agony Lay depressed and hollow One thought in your mind -No Tomorrow
And then you had made up your mind and thought it was your time You left this world without shedding a tear without hope, without fear
So you thought you'd just put your head into the Noose and let it all go...and so you did Oh yeah, you did
Now you come haunting every night Calling my name until I... wake up feeling this sorrow One thought in my mind - I will follow
I'll drink the booze to depress myself then I take the rope and express myself I'll leave this world without shedding a tear without hope, without fear
Yeah, I think I'll put my head into the Noose and let it all go...and so I will Oh yeah, I will
I'll take the rope, just like you and wherever you are, I'll be too
I think I'll just put my head into the Noose and let it all go...and so I will Oh yeah, I will
Sentenced - Bleed hat geschrieben:
Burnt all the bridges I have passed No looking back to the life I once had -The hate for myself is all that's left now
"As blood runs down my arms I feel peace in my heart..."
On my skin the razor blade is shining bright The veins show clearly through, my blood is running wild
This wrath that runs inside my veins This hate that burns inside the ruins of my heart I've got to let it out I can't control it anymore
"As blood runs down my heart I feel peace in my heart..."
On my skin the razor blade is shining bright The veins show clearly through, my blood is running wild The deep red flowing within, longing to be free A little pressure's all it takes to make me bleed...to death

Angeschissen, Wonderbra, Push Up BH!!
Ich fuhr in die Disko zurück,
beim 2.

Zitat:
Well how do you do young Willie McBride, Do you mind if I sit here down by your graveside? And rest for awhile in the warm summer sun, I've been walking all day and I'm nearly done I see by your gravestone you were only nineteen When you joined the great fallin' in 1916; Well I hope you died quick and I hope you died clean, Or, Willie McBride, was it slow and obscene?
Did they beat the drum slowly, Did they play the fife lowly? Did they sound the Death March As they lowered you down? Did the band play "The Last Post And Chorus?" Did the pipes play "The Flowers Of The Forest?"
Did you leave a wife or a sweetheart behind? In some loyal heart is your memory enshrined? And although you died back in 1916, To that loyal heart you're forever nineteen? Or are you a stranger without even a name, Enclosed forever behind a glass pane, In an old photograph, torn, and tattered and stained, And faded to yellow in a brown leather frame?
The sun shining down on these green fields of France, The warm blows gently and the red poppies dance, And look how the sun shines from under the clouds; There's no gas, no barbed wire, there're no guns firing now. But here in this graveyard that's still No Man's Land, The countless white crosses in mute witness stand To man's blind indifference to his fellow man, And a whole generation was butchered and damned.
I can't help but wonder, young Willie McBride, Did all those who lay here know why they died? And did you really believe when they told you the cause, Did they really believe that this war would end war? For the sorrow, the suffering, the glory, the pain, The killing and dying were all done in vain, For, young Willie McBride, it all happened again, And again and again and again and again.

Blink 182 - Untitled
Zitat:
I think of awhile ago We might have had it all I was so stupid then You needed time to grow
But now just as things change As well my feelings do In time things rearrange I am so sick of chasing you
But what do I get 'cause I just seem to lose You make me regret those times I spent with you And playing those games as I wait for your call And now I give up, so goodbye and so long
It's not a change of pace This time I'll get it right It's not a change of taste I was the one there last night
You have your other friends They were there when you cried Didn't mean to hurt you then Best friends just won't leave your side
But what do I get 'cause I just seem to lose You make me regret those times I spent with you And playing those games as I wait for your call And now I give up, so goodbye and so long
It's not a change of pace This time I'll get it right It's not a change of taste I was the one there last night When I needed you most When I needed a friend You let me down now Like I let you down then
So sorry, it's over

Beatles - Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she's gone.
{REFRAIN}
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Ah... Ah...
{VERSE 2}
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you're gone.
{REFRAIN}
Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties,
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle,
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
